Happy Thursday! Based on yesterday’s video, positive psychologist, Shawn Achor, describes how we can become happier in just 2 minutes a day for 21 days. Here’s the formula:
Write down 3 things you are grateful for each day: your brain gets into a habit of scanning the world for positivity
Journal about 1 positive experience you had each day: allows your brain to relive that experience
Exercise: trains your brain that your behavior matters
Meditation: allows your brain to focus on the task at hand
Random Acts of Kindness: are conscious acts of kindness. Achor had people in companies write one positive email to someone — praising or thanking them.
Do these activities each and every day for 21 days and watch as it makes a difference on your happiness!
