Happy Monday! I think we’ve all noticed the days feeling shorter. It’s hard to stay happy when your workday starts and ends in darkness. So each day this week, I am writing about a different happiness hormone and how to increase your happiness during these shortened days.

Today’s happiness hormone is: Dopamine

Dopamine is released in the brain when you feel motivated or have a feeling of accomplishment. There are unhealthy ways to increase dopamine such as increasing your sugar intake, caffeine, or using recreational drugs. Here, at The Good Egg, we like to promote healthy ways…

Today’s Challenge

Set a new goal and take steps each day to work on achieving that goal. Each small success toward the goal will release dopamine in the brain.
