Happy Wednesday! Halfway through the week! Look at you go. We, Good Eggs, have been looking for the positives and trying to make each moment a happy one!

Today’s Challenge

Pick a day, maybe it’s today, where you make a conscious effort not to complain about anything for THE WHOLE DAY.

Whoa, right?! That is a BIG task. Some may not realize how much they complain, so this activity may be quite challenging. Some may realize complaining is their form of conversation. That is a great realization, and one that we have to fix ASAP. The more you can be consciously aware of these things the better off you’ll be! Let’s choose happiness today and everyday!

Today’s Yoga

On Monday, we talked about the effects of running and how it can benefit your life. I’d like to talk about some yoga stretches that are extremely beneficial for runners.

Warrior III

Benefits:

1. Stretches hamstrings and thighs

2. Opens chest and lungs

3. Improves balance and posture

Crescent Lunge Twist

Benefits:

1. Stretches legs and hips

2. Opens chest, shoulders, and arms

3. Improves balance and energy

Pyramid Pose

Benefits:

1. Stretches and strengthens hamstrings and shoulders

2. Builds balance and coordination

3. Therapeutic for flat feet

Supine Figure Four

Benefits:

1. Stretches the hamstrings and quadriceps

2. Opens the hips

Half Splits

Benefits:

1. Stretches the hips, hamstrings, calves and lower back

2. Strengthens the hamstrings
